Thereās always a moment before a song exists ā a moment where everything feels heavy, unclear, and unresolved.
For me, āNo Peace in My Zoneā came from that exact place.
It wasnāt written in a perfect studio session.
It came from a state of mental noise overthinking, pressure, expectations, and trying to figure out where I stand in my own journey.
There were days where everything felt loud not externally, but internally.
Too many thoughts. Too many āwhat ifs.ā Too many doubts.
And thatās where the title came from.
No Peace in My Zone.
Itās not about a place.
Itās about a state of mind.
The Process.
I didnāt start with the full idea. It began with a feeling of something unresolved. I sat down, opened my DAW, and just started building around that emotion.
Simple chords first. Then a melody. Then space. I didnāt want the track to feel overproduced. I wanted it to feel honest.
Every layer I added had to mean something ā whether it was the atmosphere, the drop, or even the silence between sections.
Because sometimes silence says more than sound
